Workshops are an important part of the Festival. They give women a chance to share their knowledge and skills, to gain experience as workshop facilitators, as well to learn and grow. Workshop topics are related to women's spirituality and personal growth, and in the past, have included everything from tarot cards to yoga, reading auras to Ritual 101, stones and crystals to creative writing. We are always looking for women to facilitate workshops if you would like to do a workshop, please email email@example.com.
Outer Planetary Lifecycles: An Astrological Invitation To Dance
Jupiter trots as Saturn returns. Uranus thunders while Neptune hides in the shadows. Pluto goes to ground for years at a time. Whether you are preparing for your 1st Saturn return or a mid-life Uranus opposition, understanding the outer planetary transits enriches life’s spiral dance while supporting ritual’s transformational intent. Join Joanne in shared conversation, exploration and ceremony as together we move with the outer planets in celebration of our shared human experience.
Joanne McDonough is a local astrologer, solitary crone and self described "kitchen witch". She moved from New York City to Toronto in 2009. She is offering a workshop experience exploring the concept of underworld descent and the transformative rebirth that follows through the path of the planet Venus. Manifesting Our Divine Energy
Join Elizabeth as we explore our relationship to Energy - our exchange with internal and external sources of Energy, the mind-body connection, tapping into our Divine Source, and why our “logical” brain just LOVES to hijack our whole experience. Together we’ll explore how to attract and work with Energy, harnessing our flow-state and, of course, how to reclaim ourselves whenever we feel stuck. This workshop will include discussion, journaling and mindfulness exercises.

Experience the transformational power of Reclaiming Body Sovereignty
Join Sydney Bell as she shares a framework for working toward body sovereignty built from years of experience working as a counsellor and body-positive activist. Sydney believes we can transform our relationship with our bodies by intentionally fostering Self Compassion, Mindfulness, and Discernment in our day to day lives. At this session you will have the opportunity to learn about becoming more fully present in your body and joyfully claiming space in the world.
Sydney is a psychotherapist, speaker, body-positivity advocate and priestess in the Avalonian Tradition. She believes that by providing spaces to challenge oppressive beauty and health paradigms and instead promote body diversity and radical self-love, we can turn the tide against rampant body dissatisfaction and the negative health outcomes that go with it.
Using the Labyrinth as a Map for Magical Journeys of Transformation
A labyrinth is an excellent tool that can help us prepare for the non-linear process of transformation. This workshop invites you to use the labyrinth as a physical reminder of the twists and turns inherent in magical change. The answers may look so simple, clear and accessible, yet our path to them is not direct. Our change process is often a journey into the centre of ourselves and back out again. The labyrinth offers us multiple perspectives, much like our magical journeys offer us different angles from which to view the world, our problems and ourselves.
What do you bring with you into the labyrinth?
What do you leave behind?
This is both a meditative and crafty workshop. We will discuss our journeys of transformation and gather what we need for the trip. Individually we will create our 'map' before we step into the unknown.
You will create a labyrinth on paper and one out of clay.
Join Michelle Webb on this journey.
